Job Responsibilities
  • Assist the Contracts Manager in preparing cost estimates, budgets, tender submissions, and all contract-related tasks.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates for both tenders and ongoing projects.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
  • Prepare and manage progress claims, variation orders, payment certifications, and final account settlements.
  • Monitor project expenditures, control costs, and track any variations to ensure budget compliance.
  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers for procurement and material selection.
  • Conduct site measurements, attend meetings, and maintain proper documentation of all contractual matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in Singapore’s building construction industry, preferably with a main contractor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical thinking, cost control, and negotiation skills.
  • Good knowledge of contract administration (e.g., SIA, PSSCOC) is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work both independently and within a team.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
