Job summary

A construction management firm in Singapore is looking for a professional to handle quantity surveying and cost estimating. The role involves preparing claims and feasibility studies, maintaining project documentation, and verifying sub-contractor claims. Candidates should possess a construction-related diploma and skills in MS Office, mathematical calculations, and reading plans. Relevant experience in construction or aluminium industries is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Preferably with some relevant working experience in construction or aluminium related industry.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for quantity surveying and cost estimating.
  • Checking and analysing tenders.
  • Preparing economic feasibility studies from information provided by Architects, Engineers or Planners.
  • Preparing progressive claims.
  • Ensure project files, drawings, specifications and bidding contracts are maintained.
  • Update and record variation or omission orders issued for each project.
  • Verify sub-contractor’s claims for approval.
  • Prepare and purchase insurance for projects such as Performance Bond.
  • Any other adhoc works.

Understand the relevant standard forms of Building

Possess good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
