Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a highly motivated individual for a role focused on cost estimation and project management. The successful candidate will prepare detailed cost reports, analyze construction specifications, and monitor project expenses. Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in the construction industry. Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills are essential for this position. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to significant construction projects.

Job description
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects
  • Analyze and review construction drawings and specifications to determine project requirements
  • Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and shedules of quantities
  • Prepare and evaluate tender documents and contract documents
  • Review and analyze contractor/sub-contractor quotations
  • Ensure that projects are completed within budget
  • provide advice on cost-effective solutions and value engineering options
  • Negotiate contracts and resolve contractual issues
  • Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process
  • Prepare cost reports and forcast final project costs
  • Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders
  • Ensure complice with relevant health and safety regulations
