Committed to sustainable practices and superior craftsmanship, we are seeking a Quality Manager to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Job Purpose
The Quality Manager for facades is responsible for overseeing the quality control processes related to the design, production, installation, and maintenance of façade systems. This role ensures compliance with industry regulations and company standards, aiming for excellence and customer satisfaction. He/She is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety Management System. This includes ensuring full compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards, regulatory requirements in Singapore, and client‑specific project demands. He/She will also oversee the work of Quality Engineers and Inspectors at respective worksites.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance and Control
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures for façade projects.
- Develop, implement and maintain the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System across all company functions.
- Review project specifications and ensure QA processes align with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the preparation and approval of Quality Manuals, Project Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Supervise Quality Engineers and Inspectors for inspections, material verifications and quality documentation.
- Maintain QA documentation and prepare reports for management reviews and audits.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Project teams to ensure preventive and corrective actions are closed.
- Conduct internal audits, supplier evaluations, and process verifications.
- Oversee calibration of inspection tools and control of quality documentation.
- Drive root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for non‑conformities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and participate in quality workshops.
Leadership and Training
- Lead and mentor the quality control team, providing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the organization.
Supplier and Client Relations
- Evaluate and monitor suppliers and subcontractors to ensure quality parameters are met.
- Act as the primary contact for clients on quality‑related matters, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed documentation of quality processes, inspections, and audits.
- Prepare quality reports for senior management, highlighting key findings and areas for improvement.
Risk Management
- Identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to façade systems.
Qualifications and Certifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in quality management within the construction or architectural industry, with a focus on facades.
- Proficiency in quality management systems (ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, 45001:2018) & Internal Auditor Certified.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with LEED or other sustainability practices related to facades.
- Strong understanding of façade technologies, materials, and construction methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
