Job summary

A leading construction management firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to manage contract-related financial matters. The ideal candidate will have a recognised degree in Engineering or Building Management and at least 12 years of relevant experience in contract management, particularly in M&E. Strong leadership qualities and excellent problem-solving skills are essential for overseeing and negotiating financial issues from pre-tender stages to contract closeout.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years relevant experience in contract management, payment submissions, and claims, preferably in M&E.
• Demonstrate good leadership qualities and people management capabilities.
• Strong ability in problem solving and organising skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate cost estimates and assess risks.
• Plan management decisions and advise on financial matters.
• Oversee financial and contractual issues from pre-tender to post-contract phases.

• Develop and evaluate cost estimates, assess risks and contract issues to arrive at final cost.
• Plan for management decision including giving advices on financial matters to subcontractor payments, variations and claims till contract closeout.
• Oversees and manage financial and contractual issues for the projects from pre-tender to post contract phrases
• Handle, manage and represent company in negotiation and dispute resolutions
