Job description

As a Software Quality Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to analyze and test software products to ensure they meet design specifications and adhere to total quality management standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements. In addition, you will execute test cases, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution. It will be your duty to isolate, replicate, and report bugs, as well as verify bug fixes. Furthermore, you will create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Generating detailed test reports for stakeholders and communicating with product developers and technical support specialists on software issues will also be part of your role. Your contribution to requirement analysis from a testability perspective will be valued.To excel in this role, you should be self-motivated and dedicated to delivering high-quality software. You must possess a strong appreciation for both manual and automated testing, with meticulous attention to detail. A minimum of 3 years of relevant QA technical experience is required, along with proficiency in testing web applications and APIs. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is essential. Previous experience as a Software Quality Engineer or in a similar role is preferred. You should have a solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, as well as experience with automated testing frameworks and tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG. Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies is a must. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong communication and collaboration abilities, are crucial for success in this position.
