What you’ll do
Media Relations & Story Development
- Actively pitch stories to local media to secure strong earned coverage across the different tier media outlets.
- Initiate and build strong long term relationships with key journalists, editors and media stakeholders.
- Develop compelling bylines, op eds, executive quotes, and thought leadership articles.
- Identify and craft Lalamove Driver Partner stories, profiling their experiences and contributions as part of ongoing PR storytelling opportunities.
- Prepare media materials including press releases, media kits, Q&A, talking points and briefing documents.
Corporate Communications, Crisis & Thought Leadership
- Strengthen Lalamove’s leadership visibility by identifying event speaking opportunities for the Managing Director and other key spokespersons.
- Drive the development of quarterly PR initiatives that align with business priorities and market opportunities.
- Support internal and executive communications, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across all channels.
- Handle media crisis management by developing timely statements, handling media enquiries, drafting holding messages and coordinating responses.
Brand & Social Presence
- Build and grow Lalamove’s LinkedIn presence by planning and producing content that enhances employer branding, corporate credibility and industry positioning.
- Work together with the Marketing team to ensure PR and social messaging align with the overall brand narrative.
CSR & Community Engagement
- Initiate and execute CSR initiatives, including partnerships, donation events and community driven campaigns.
- Identify meaningful story angles that amplify Lalamove’s social impact and community contributions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Media Monitoring and Reporting
- Work closely with the Corporate Governance team and other internal stakeholders to support communication needs and ensure alignment on key PR matters.
- Manage PR reporting, including media monitoring, sentiment analysis, coverage tracking and compiling performance reports for internal review.
What we seek
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or a related discipline. 3 to 5 years of PR or communications experience (agency experience is a plus). Strong media pitching experience and familiarity with Singapore’s media landscape.
- Excellent writing skills – capable of producing bylines, profiles, speeches and press materials.
- Ability to build and maintain strong media relationships.
- Proactive, detail oriented and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
- Crisis communication experience is beneficial.
