Job summary

A leading transport systems company is seeking a Project Engineer to support the implementation of Platform Screen Door systems in MRT/LRT projects. This role involves responsibilities such as executing schedules, resolving issues, and quality control management. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Fresh graduates may be considered. This position is based in Singapore and may require night work.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in PSD, automatic door systems, or electromechanical equipment.
  • Ability to travel with short notice if needed.
  • Must be able to perform night work (11pm to 5am) when required.

  • Fresh graduates will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Support implementation activities for Platform Screen Door (PSD) systems in MRT/LRT projects.
  • Execute T&C schedules for PSD systems in line with project milestones.
  • Quality control management including managing spares.
  • Support Field Service & Maintenance; perform inspections and corrective service of PSD equipment.
  • Maintain a project issues list, detailing all issues/failures.
