Job summary

A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is seeking a Project Technician to support the Project Manager by handling pre-installation checks and post-installation adjustments on-site. Responsibilities include providing technical support on projects, monitoring progress, and performing quality control on installations. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in mechanical or electrical roles in construction and a valid Class 3 driving license. This position offers a basic salary of $2,000 to $2,500 plus overtime, with office hours from 8.30 AM to 5.30 PM on weekdays.

Job description

• Basic Salary: $2,000 to $2,500 + OT
• 5 days - 8.30am to 5.30pm / 5.5 days - Sat 8.30am - 1230am
• Office Location: Ubi / Work Location: Island wide

The Project Technician supports the Project Manager/Coordinators by handling tasks such as pre installation checks and post installation adjustments of the equipment on site. Attend daily toolbox meetings, submit PTWs to facilitate daily works arrangements on site.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project meetings both internal and external and propose improvements if necessary
• Provide technical and logistic support on projects and coordinating with teams
• Monitor and update progress, issues and glitches
• Perform quality control and checking on installation quality
• Provide simple adjustments/troubleshooting support to newly installed equipment

Requirements

• Relevant experience in related mechanical/electrical roles in a construction & building environment
• Able to understand construction drawings and shop drawings for the purpose of equipment location and build requirements
• Valid Class 3 Singapore Driving License
