Project Manager Lead (12 months)

The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Zurich APAC team as part of our dedicated team executing on our regional digital distribution strategy - Zurich Edge. We’re looking for a Project Manager Lead with strong leadership, project delivery, and stakeholder management skills to help drive execution and implementation for key partners and initiatives across the region. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering scalable, customer-centric insurance solutions across all digital insurance channels - direct, assisted, and partnerships – working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Facilitate high-level planning of the project pipeline across APAC markets, aligning priorities with regional business goals and digital strategy.
  • Oversee end-to-end project delivery, from initiation to closure, ensuring timely execution and quality outcomes.
  • Act as implementation lead for cross-market projects, including managing external partners.
  • Track KPIs and project health metrics, providing regular updates to leadership and working teams.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Manage cross-functional teams, including business, product, development, and external partners.
  • Facilitate effective communication between internal teams and external partners.
  • Lead regular updates, reviews, and steering committee meetings.
  • Provide clear, timely communication to keep stakeholders well-informed and aligned.

Governance & Compliance

  • Handle governance-related activities, including documentation, reporting, and risk management.
  • Ensure projects comply with internal standards and external regulations.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

Required:

  • Significant experience in project roles, ideally in project management within digital or partnership-driven environments.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills across business and technical domains, ideally with C-suite stakeholder experience.
  • Familiarity with governance and compliance environments.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working across APAC markets is a plus.
  • Open to travel

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence systems as collaboration tools like Mural.
  • Experience working on large scale IT systems consisting of multiple integrated applications.
