Job description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in geotechnical and foundation engineering to lead and manage complex infrastructure and construction projects in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and a proven track record in delivering deep foundation, ground improvement, piling, and earth retention systems for large-scale projects.

You will be responsible for end-to-end project management, including planning, execution, cost control, safety, and stakeholder communication, while ensuring adherence to quality, regulatory, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage full project lifecycle for geotechnical/foundation engineering projects in Singapore.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, commercial, and operations teams to ensure timely project execution.
• Plan and monitor project timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, authorities’ requirements (e.g., BCA, LTA), and industry best practices.
• Engage with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental standards are met.
• Prepare and review technical submissions, method statements, and progress reports.
• Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Support business development and tender preparation when needed.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and site staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in geotechnical and foundation works, including bored piling, diaphragm walls, jet grouting, and ground anchors.
• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects in Singapore.
• In-depth knowledge of local construction laws, safety regulations, and permitting processes.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• PMP certification or equivalent is advantageous.
