The ProjectManagerwill play a critical role in managingcross functionalprojects, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors, and ensuringtimelyandhigh-qualitydelivery of key initiatives.
This individual will overseeportfoliotimelinesacross multiple team functions to lead cross-subject project milestones with effective stakeholder management and communication on statues while taking ownership to drive efficient solutions to keepalignment with plannedscope, deliverables, and expectations.
This role requiresstrong communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and experience in highly regulated ortechnology drivenenvironments—ideally within financial markets, exchanges,clearingor SaaS platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, track, and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for multiple concurrent projectsacross streams.
- Coordinate and streamline collaboration between internal departments (Technology, Product, Operations,RegulatoryCompliance, Legal, etc.).
- Ensure alignment between project requirements, resources, and deliverables.
- Responsible for planning,executingand monitoring projects.
- Serve as the primary liaison betweenAbaxxExchange and external vendors, system integrators, and technology partners.
- Manage vendor performance, deliverable quality, SLAs, and contractual obligations.
- Lead discussions, negotiations, and escalation processes to resolve scope, timelines, technical challenges, or operational issues.
- Develop UAT strategies, test plans, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with Product and Technology teams.
- Identifyproject risks, constraints, and gaps early; propose mitigation strategies and solutions.
- Facilitate issue resolution across internal teams and vendors.
- Maintainaccuraterisk logs, issue trackers, and project documentation.
- Prepare and deliver regular project status updates, dashboards, and executive briefings.
- Ensure projectscomply withgovernance processes, regulatory expectations, and internal audit requirements.
- Maintain documentation such as BRDs, project plans, meeting minutes, and RAID logs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 10-15 years of experience in project management, ideally within fintech, financial services, trading platforms, exchanges,clearingor technology implementation.
- Proven experience managing vendors and cross-functional teams in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)with certification in relevant area.
- Hands-on experience planning and executing UAT cycles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- High degree of ownership,follow-through, and operational discipline.
- Possess excellent leadership skills to guide project teams and influence stakeholders effectively.
