A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead M&E projects from initiation to completion. The role includes managing budgets, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and coordinating with stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering and proven experience in project management, alongside excellent technical and interpersonal skills. Lead and manage M&E works from project initiation to completion.
Develop project plans, schedules, work programs, and execution strategies.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and milestones.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow.
Monitor project expenditure and control costs.
Review and approve variation orders, claims, and final accounts.
Coordinate with QS and finance teams for cost reporting.
Oversee M&E design development and ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and standards.
Review shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and technical proposals.
Coordinate with consultants, BIM teams, and design engineers.
Coordinate M&E works with architectural, structural, and other trades.
Liaise with clients, consultants, authorities, and subcontractors.
Lead project meetings, progress meetings, and coordination meetings.
Supervise site teams and ensure proper execution of M&E works.
Monitor site progress and resolve technical and construction issues.
Ensure works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
Manage subcontractors’ performance and manpower planning.
Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, HSE regulations, and project standards.
Implement quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITP), and safety procedures.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and authority approvals.
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Manage change requests, RFIs, and claims.
Resolve disputes and contractual issues effectively.
Oversee procurement of M&E materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Review technical evaluations and recommend suppliers/subcontractors.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet project schedules.
Manage testing, commissioning, and integrated system testing of M&E systems.
Ensure proper documentation, O&M manuals, and training are provided.
Lead final inspections, snagging, and project handover to client.
Prepare and submit progress reports, schedules, and management reports.
Maintain accurate project records, correspondence, and documentation.
Ensure as-built drawings and final project documentation are completed.
