Project Engineer / Senior Project Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Project Engineer to join our team. This role is open to candidates from Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering disciplines, ranging from fresh graduates to mid-career professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in project management, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive, can-do attitude. Experience in the power plant industry or large-scale industrial projects is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Project Management:
• • Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from feasibility studies through commissioning and handover.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects.
  • Liaise/collaborate with Local Authorities and Regulators in the consultations, submissions, and securing the necessary permits and approvals for the projects.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Provide progress updates to leadership.
• Technical Support:
• • Prepare project technical specifications, evaluate tenders, and liaise with vendors and contractors.
  • Conduct site inspections and oversee construction, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Compliance & Documentation:
• • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, safety codes, and company quality requirements.
  • Ensure contractors fulfil statutory obligations, securing necessary permits and approvals.
  • Prepare reports, maintain project documentation, and support audits.
