Job summary

A project-driven industrial firm in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer (Mechanical/Engineering Systems) to manage engineering projects from design to implementation. You will be responsible for technical design, project management, and stakeholder coordination. A degree in Mechanical Engineering and Mandarin proficiency are required. The role offers a competitive salary of up to $4,500, with attractive incentives. This is a permanent position located in Tagore, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling powder-processing systems is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Mandarin proficiency for communication with Mandarin customers.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects through their entire lifecycle, from initial design to on-site commissioning and handover.
• Technical Design & Execution: Design, size, and create layout drawings for equipment and systems, ensuring they meet all project specifications.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the main liaison between clients, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
• Financial & Procurement Oversight: Manage project costing, budgeting, and the procurement of necessary materials and equipment.
• On-Site Implementation: Lead the commissioning and start-up of systems at client sites, ensuring full operational readiness.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in handling projects for powder-processing systems and equipment is an added advantage, no experience welcome too.
• Willing to travel when required
• Candidates needs to have mandarin language proficiency to communicate with Mandarin speaking customers
