We are one of the largest one-stop Underground Utilities Infrastructure companies based in Singapore. We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling.
RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to manage and support projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will coordinate with stakeholders, ensure compliance with approvals, and assist in achieving project objectives efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of project scope, timelines, financials, and objectives; plan and manage team goals, project schedules, and new information.
- Communicate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Regularly schedule and attend meetings with stakeholders, clients, employees, and the Project Manager.
- Obtain necessary approvals for site teams, including NCE, LTA, NParks, GTP, MPA, LPB, and coordinate with TPOM Officers for supervision.
- Maintain records and renew expired approvals or permits required for projects (e.g., C&G NCE, Telecom, GTP, LPB LOAs).
- Coordinate with SP Officers regarding schedules of works (e.g., ROA schedules, reinstatement) for Distribution Projects.
- Liaise with LTA and NParks officers to address queries and secure timely approvals.
- Provide support to Project Managers and operations teams as needed.
- Participate in project design meetings, propose improvements when necessary, and share relevant documentation with project teams.
- Monitor project budgets and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
- Supervise ongoing projects, ensuring coordination among all team members to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
- Manage project-related correspondence, including proposals, meeting minutes, and emails.
- Act as the point of contact for various working groups.
- Ensure all project documentation is current, properly filed, and stored for easy reference.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisors or the Head of Department (HOD).
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Civil Engineering, recognized by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant local experience in oil & gas projects.
- Experience with underground utilities or similar site works is advantageous.
- Strong skills in project coordination and site supervision with a practical, hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and consultants.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with project management tools.
- Knowledge of local regulatory approvals and compliance processes is an advantage.
- Preferably possess a valid Class 3 license.
