Job summary

A leading provider of solar solutions in Singapore is seeking a Project Management Assistant to support solar photovoltaic system installations. The candidate should have a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in engineering, with a minimum of 2 years of solar construction project management experience. Responsibilities include planning project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Responsibilities

  • Assist to prepare, plan and monitor project schedules.
  • Coordinate project permits as required.
  • Work closely with local partners and suppliers.
  • Attend client meetings.
  • Participate in internal technical meetings.
  • Plan and monitor all project components for timely delivery.
  • Ensure workplace safety at the site.
  • Document projects appropriately.
  • Provide sales support when required.
  • Assist in tenders, RFQs, budgets, and reports.

Job description
Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head, Project Management, you will assist the Project Manager in the overall installation, testing and commissioning of solar photovoltaic systems. You will help identify and engage subcontractors to support Energetix, and coordinate our activities with the client and other sub-contractors within a job-site. You will assist in meeting project budgets, deadlines and managing client expectation.

  • Assist to prepare, plan and monitor project schedules
  • Assist to coordinate any required project permits
  • Work closely with local partners, suppliers and client representatives on project related matters
  • Attend client meetings where necessary
  • Participate in regular internal technical meetings to discuss project status, project resources and other needs including plan meetings and record minutes of meetings
  • Assist to plan, arrange and monitor all project components to ensure timely delivery to meet installation timelines
  • Ensure workplace safety is implemented at the site at all times to the compliance of local regulations, and to ensure zero fatality or lost time injuries.
  • Ensure proper documentation of projects
  • Provide sales support function when required
  • Assist in tenders, RFQs, budgets, reports
Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from a recognised university
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in solar construction project management
  • Understanding of Solar design and engineering is required.
  • Solar design experience would be advantageous
