A leading technology company located in Singapore is seeking an Automation Engineer to support industrial automation projects. Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLC and HMI programs, providing engineering support, and coordinating between customers and contractors. Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support project development in troubleshooting on basic PLC and HMI program.
• Follow up project onsite and get the right resource to solve onsite issues.
• Project closure and hand over to customer and service team.
• Support the automation team lead in following up on daily job execution & pending issues.
• Provide engineering and hands-on support to industrial automation projects (E.g., Machine assembly, testing, commissioning, debugging, troubleshooting).
• Coordinate between customer and contractor.
• Arrange training between service team and customer.
• Support technical team when needed.
• Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time by management.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Higher Nitec or Diploma in Automation & Mechatronic Systems/ Mechatronic/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Min. 2 years working experience in the related field is required.
• Able to read schematic diagram and mechanical layout.
• Knowledge in Mitsubishi PLC, Genesis64, Contec, Wonderware SCADA is preferred.
• Self-driven in term of project assigned or attached.
• Good team player, positive working attitude and open to learn new technology.
• Detail-oriented, able to multi-task in fast paced environment.
• Able to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
• Willing to travel overseas when needed.
