A construction firm in Singapore is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist in planning project timelines and managing site activities. The role involves close collaboration with subcontractors and suppliers, maintaining communication with clients, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Project Planning & Scheduling
Assist Project Manager in planning project timelines, work schedules, and resource allocation.
Prepare and update project progress schedules (using Excel, MS Project, or equivalent).
Site Coordination
Coordinate day-to-day site activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and workers.
Ensure smooth workflow, timely material delivery, and adherence to timelines.
Attend site meetings and prepare site reports.
Client & Stakeholder Communication
Serve as a point of contact between clients, designers, and internal teams.
Communicate client requirements clearly to site teams and ensure timely updates.
Procurement & Material Handling
Source and order materials, track delivery, and verify site quantities.
Liaise with suppliers and vendors for quotations and delivery schedules.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare work progress reports, variation orders (VO), and documentation for project claims.
Assist in submitting drawings, samples, and other approvals as needed.
Compliance & Safety
Monitor workplace safety and ensure compliance with Singapore's workplace safety regulations.
Coordinate permits and submission to authorities (e.g., HDB, BCA, NEA) when required.
Conduct quality checks and inspections.
Assist with cost estimation and budgeting.
Follow up on defects rectification and handover procedures.
Prepare and handle CAD drawings
Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Management to support project execution and operational needs.
