Job summary

A community-focused organization in Singapore is looking for a Programme Executive to support seniors in adopting an active lifestyle and preventing social isolation. The candidate will recruit seniors for the Active Ageing Centre, plan and implement engaging programmes, and monitor support for seniors in the community. Strong communication, organizational, and administrative skills are essential. A qualification in social services is preferred. This role will provide opportunities to work closely with volunteers and the community.

Programme Executive (Active Ageing Centre)

This Programme Executive supports seniors to adopt an active lifestyle and pre-empt social isolation. Additionally, refer seniors to appropriate community care and social assistance when necessary. With Age Well SG initiatives, you shall work with primary care physicians (e.g. family doctor) to empower residents to chart their own journey towards healthy and active lifestyles.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment of seniors to the Active Ageing Centre
  • Plan and implement programmes and activities
  • Monitor and support seniors to age well in the community
  • Engage with community for collaboration and partnership
  • Recruit and support volunteers
  • Administrative and logistical support for activities and events
Pre-requisites:
  • Passionate about working with seniors and volunteers.
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Good organising and administrative skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Related qualification in working with the elderly or in the social service sector, would be an advantage.
