About The Role

As the Programmatic Ads Lead, you will be the strategic owner of the entire advertising revenue stream for the Muslim Pro app. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will have a significant impact on the company's bottom line. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategy & Ownership: Develop and execute a comprehensive ad monetization strategy to maximize revenue while preserving user experience. You will own the ad revenue P&L for the Muslim Pro app.
  • Ad Stack Management: Oversee and manage our entire programmatic ad stack, with a primary focus on Google Ad Manager (GAM) and AdMob.
  • Yield Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize key performance metrics such as show rate, match rate, fill rate, and eCPM. You will use a data-driven approach to identify and act on performance trends.
  • Mediation & Bidding: Implement and manage sophisticated ad mediation waterfalls and in-app bidding solutions, with a strong emphasis on scaling our Prebid setup.
  • Ad Format Innovation: Strategize, test, and roll out new and innovative ad formats (e.g., rewarded video, native, interstitial) to create new revenue opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with our Product, Engineering, and Data teams to ensure seamless implementation of the ad strategy and optimal ad placements within the app.
  • Reporting: Provide regular, high-level performance reports and strategic recommendations directly to the CEO and senior leadership team.
  • Team Management: You will manage / work closely with a team of 2 executives to run the programmatic ads operations.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in programmatic ad monetization, specifically for mobile applications.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Google Ad Manager (GAM) and AdMob is essential.
  • Deep understanding of ad mediation, waterfall management, and hybrid models to maximize yield.
  • Good analytical and quantitative skills; you are comfortable generating reports, analyzing large datasets, and making data-driven decisions.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture and translate it into an actionable roadmap.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Great If You Also Have
  • Experience with other major ad networks and mediation platforms (e.g., AppLovin MAX, Unity LevelPlay).
  • Direct experience implementing and managing in-app bidding solutions, particularly Prebid.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau or Looker.
  • A solid understanding of the broader ad tech ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, Ad Exchanges).
  • Knowledge of video ad standards such as VAST and VPAID.
