Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage a team of production personnel. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment and hold a relevant degree or diploma. Responsibilities include supervising production activities, ensuring quality and safety on the shop floor, and facilitating continuous improvement initiatives. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for this role.

• Supervise a team of production personnel to achieve the daily output and quality targets.
• Plan and allocate resources to achieve production requirements.
• Suggest changes on production schedule to maximise performance.
• Clear communication and follow up on duties and issues between shifts.
• Liaise with supporting departments on production issues and improvement plans.
• Ensure shop floor discipline and safe workplace.
• Train / cross train production personnel to upgrade the skills and job knowledge to meet requirements.
• Responsible for production personnel performance appraisal, provide positive and/or corrective feedbacks.
• Prepare and maintain production reports.
• Provide timely and accurate feedback to respective departments on production issues for resolution.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement on productivity and quality activities.
• Any general ad-hoc duties as assigned by the operations manager.

Requirements
