Production Engineer – Managed File Transfer (MFT)

🎯 Main Mission

Join their Application team to contribute to the modernization of their Managed File Transfer (MFT) ecosystem. As a Production Engineer, you will ensure the operational stability of the platform and support teams as their needs evolve.

📌 Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and performance of the Axway MFT platform (CFT, SecureTransport, Sentinel,Flow Manager).
• Handle Level 1 and 2 operational issues, analyze logs, and interpret alerts.
• Participate in maintenance tasks, patch campaigns, and version upgrades.
• Document recurring issues, recovery procedures, and system behaviors to enrich the knowledge base.
• Implement and maintain MFT solutions using Axway Amplify (CFT, SecureTransport, Sentinel, FlowManager).
• Define and apply best practices for secure and efficient file transfer operations.
• Engage with requesters to understand their needs and propose optimal solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to file transfers, connectivity, or Axway components.
• Support DevOps and automation efforts (scripting, CI/CD pipeline integration).
• Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams and users.

🧰 Required Skills & Experience

• At least 4+ years of experience in a production environment.
• Broad understanding of IT operations and exploitation roles.
• Knowledge of file transfer protocols (PeSIT, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, S3, etc.).
• Ability to write and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python).
• Proficiency in Linux/AIX and Windows environments.
• General understanding of networking, PKI, certificates, and firewalls.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work collaboratively.
