Job summary

A leading testing organization based in Singapore is seeking a qualified individual to develop and execute test plans for smart meter safety and performance. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in product safety and electrical performance testing. Responsibilities include analyzing results, maintaining test equipment, and collaborating with teams to enhance testing processes.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in Smart Meter testing or ISO/IEC 17025 preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans for smart meter safety and electrical performance, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.


• Analyze test results, document findings, and prepare accurate reports. Lead complex test projects, defining plans and meeting deadlines.


• Operate and maintain advanced test equipment, perform calibrations, and train staff on procedures.


• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve testing processes.


• Ensure lab operations adhere to quality management systems and implement continuous improvements. improve accuracy and efficiency.


• Hold the responsibility and manage lab operations to continuously meet quality management system independently.


• Performs other duties as directed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related fields with min 2 years of relevant testing experience.


• Demonstrated ability in product safety & electrical performance testing.


• Relevant experience in Smart Meter/Electricity Meter testing or ISO/IEC 17025 is preferred.


• Ability to communicate effectively.


• Willing to learn and adapt to new experimental techniques.


• Proven ability to work in a team with good interpersonal skills.


• Technically motivated to solve problems and have the initiative to explore new ideas.
