Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Manager to lead the development and growth of our applications and products developed to cater to the real estate industry. This role is responsible for defining the product vision, translating market and customer insights into actionable strategies, and driving the end-to-end product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in product management, with a solid understanding of real estate, data analytics, and user-centric application design.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and market opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive benchmarking, and user research to identify opportunities, user needs, and emerging trends in the real estate and proptech sectors.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, including real estate technology, big data, and AI-driven analytics.
Product Development & Execution
- Own the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and continuous improvement.
- Translate customer needs and business requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prioritize features and initiatives based on business impact, customer value, and technical feasibility.
- Work closely with management, sales, engineering, design and data science teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Employ agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) for iterative development and testing.
User Experience & Growth
- Champion a user-first approach, ensuring intuitive, data-driven, and engaging user experiences.
- Optimize user onboarding, data visualization dashboards, and reporting features to enhance adoption and satisfaction.
- Leverage analytics and user feedback for product improvements.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to drive product adoption and user engagement.
Market & Industry Insight
- Maintain a strong understanding of the real estate industry, including investment, valuation, and market trends.
- Identify opportunities for differentiation through advanced analytics, forecasting, and decision-support tools.
Stakeholder Management
- Communicate product vision, priorities, and progress clearly to stakeholders across the organisation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align objectives and ensure product-market fit.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in product management, preferably in proptech, fintech, data analytics, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of real estate markets, investment analysis, or property valuation is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in managing digital products from concept to launch.
- Familiarity with data visualization and analytics platforms (e.g. Metabase).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Figma).
- Familiarity with SQL (basic read functions) to extract and analyze data independently.
- Solid understanding of how data flows between frontend, backend APIs, and databases.
- Prior experience with app and web-based products preferred.
