Qualifications

Job description

Role Purpose

Office based role, provides expert level NDT qualification, procedure approval and vendor surveillance for all critical materials and components.

Key Responsibilities

• Approve NDT procedures (UT, RT, MT, PT, PAUT, TOFD).
• Provide Level 3 interpretation for complex indications.
• Train, supervise, and certify NDT Level 1/2 personnel at vendor shops.
• Review NDT reports, film readings, ultrasonic data, and acceptance records.
• Participate in root cause investigation of failures or defect trends.
• Ensure NDT compliance with ASNT, ISO 9712, ASME V and project standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Level III certification in relevant methods (ASNT, ISO, PCN).
• 10-20 years NDT experience, especially for offshore structures/equipment.
