Job summary

Job Requirements
  • Identify, evaluate, and select qualified subcontractors aligned with production capacity, quality standards, and delivery requirements
  • Lead RFQ processes, conduct commercial evaluations, and negotiate pricing, terms, and contractual conditions
  • Establish, manage, and review subcontract agreements to ensure cost competitiveness, risk control, and compliance
  • Monitor subcontractor performance across cost, quality, delivery timelines, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain a reliable and sustainable subcontractor network to support long-term production needs
  • Oversee and review procurement activities managed by the Assistant Manager and a team of up to five members, including vendor sourcing, purchase orders, crane and hoisting arrangements, and related services
  • Ensure timely issuance of purchase orders and accurate processing of invoices in accordance with internal controls
  • Provide guidance and support in issue resolution and decision-making, including escalation management when required
  • Contribute to production department capital investment planning, including machinery, equipment, and facility enhancements
  • Participate in proposal evaluations, cost-benefit analyses, and implementation planning for capital investments
  • Collaborate closely with the Engineering Department to understand technical requirements and align subcontracting and procurement strategies
  • Act as the primary commercial interface with subcontractors, managing negotiations, performance discussions, and contractual matters
  • Coordinate with Production and Accounting departments on budgeting, cost tracking, financial reporting, and payment processes
Requirements
  • Possess at least 3 years of working experience in subcontractor sourcing, negotiation, and management in construction or project-based industries
  • Experience supervising procurement staff or working in a senior procurement role will be an advantage
  • Ability to manage and oversee multiple procurement processes and subcontractors simultaneously
