Job summary
A leading construction firm in Singapore is looking for a candidate experienced in sourcing, purchasing, and logistics management. The ideal applicant holds a diploma with at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction sector. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, negotiating costs, and ensuring compliance with procurement standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma level with at least 2 years of related working experience.
- Preferred applicant with construction sector field experience.
- Experience in full process of procurement including QS-related experiences preferred.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing, purchasing, logistic and inventory management for raw materials.
- Perform full logistic process including all shipping documentation.
- Closely liaise with various suppliers on delivery promptness and commitment.
- Communicate with management and contractors on costing estimations.
- Negotiate projects to ensure all issues are handled.
- Develop cost reduction strategies to enhance project value.
- Ensure all items purchased meet specifications and compliance with standards.
- Manage all purchase requisitions, orders, delivery orders, and invoices.
- Manage procurement contracts and renewals.
- Answer supplier, vendor, and internal enquiries.
