Job description

We are looking for a Sustainability & Business Support Manager to join our team and lead the charge in our evolving eco-responsibility journey. This hybrid role blends event sustainability leadership with administrative and operational support, touching multiple facets of our business — from ESG strategy to vendor compliance, from green material scouting to ISO 20121 audits.

Key Responsibilities

SUSTAINABILITY & ESG LEAD

• Translate ESG frameworks into concrete, practical actions across events and internal operations
• Propose and implement sustainable practices aligned with ISO 20121 and Visionnaire’s long-term objectives
• Conduct regular audits and prepare sustainability reports (internal & client-facing)
• Build and manage a Green Vendor Benchmark Scorecard and an eco-materials library
• Partner with designers, event producers, and suppliers to reduce environmental impact and implement eco-design methods
• Lead sustainability training, onboarding induction kits, and internal awareness campaigns (e.g., Eco Hero Awards)

ADMINISTRATION & OPERATIONS

• Manage billing, invoicing, quotations, vendor agreements, and insurance
• Working closely with clients and vendors for the procurement of materials
• Support event logistics: permits, CRM, vehicle transfers, part-time crew contracts
• Maintain IT hardware/software inventories and coordinate light IT troubleshooting
• Assist with HR-related eco initiatives, travel logistics, and team-building activities

Ideal Candidate

• Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Management, or a related field

(Bonus: Studies or certifications related to event sustainability, ESG reporting, or ISO 20121)

• Professional Experience:

1–3 years in sustainability, environmental consultancy, ESG compliance, or the events industry with a green focus

• Skills & Mindset:
  • Deep belief in eco-responsibility and sustainable impact
  • Strong organizational skills and eye for detail
  • Cross-functional team player with initiative and integrity
  • Knowledge of carbon reporting, eco-materials, waste audits or green procurement a plus
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin (spoken) as the position involves communicating with clients/customers/business partners
