About the role
We are seeking a talented Process Engineer to join our team based in Indonesia. As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimising our manufacturing processes and ensuring the highest quality standards for our products. This is a full-time position and you will be located in our plant in Indonesia permanently.
Responsibilities
- Liaise and coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure smooth implementation of projects such as new product implementation and transfer, process and machinery modification & material evaluation.
- Initiate and implementation of yield improvement projects through machine mechanization and process optimisation.
- Liaise with inter‑plant to implement improvement projects and lead the Work Improvement Team (WIT).
- Support Production for any excursion, bu using the 4M to find out the root cause, containment, corrective and preventive action.
- Implement method studies and quality tools such as DOE, SPC, PFMEA and Statistical Testing.
- Develop, implement and continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, productivity and product quality.
- To initial and develop new process flow through design and installation of new machinery to have quantum improvement in production efficiency and reliability.
- Use and document all Engineering drawings and ECN. To lead and run Engineering evaluations.
- Lead the Quality Change Process Checklist (QCPC) for new product transfer.
- Identify and establish training programmes with the training department to improve the operational readiness for production personnel.
- Lead a group of PMs and Process team to accomplish projects tasked.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Process, Mechanical or Production Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment and technologies.
- Proficient in data analysis, problem‑solving and root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and tools.
- Experience in the electronics or semiconductor industry is preferred.
- Can start work in March/April.
- Willing to be permanently based in Indonesia.
