Job summary

A prominent financial services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced professional to manage wealth management product settlements and operations. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in Private Banking operations, possesses strong knowledge of settlement processes, and is proficient in both English and Chinese to liaise with counterparts. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to improve workflows while ensuring compliance with operational risk controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Private Banking / PWM Operations.
• Strong knowledge of settlement processes and operational workflow within banking.
• Proficient in English and Chinese.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end settlement of wealth management products (equities, bonds, mutual funds, structured products, structured deposits, DCIs, etc.)

• Process Corporate Actions, perform position reconciliation, and prepare client statements

• Participate in system UAT and act as trainer for new system enhancements

• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and strengthen operational risk controls

• Manage SWIFT Alliance System, including processing and releasing SWIFT payments

• Handle issues relating to remittances and deposits, ensuring timely resolution

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational matters

• Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Private Banking / PWM Operations

• Strong knowledge of settlement processes and operational workflow within banking

• Experience with Avaloq is an advantage

• Self‑motivated, independent, and strong interpersonal/communication skills

• Proficient in English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese‑speaking head office counterparts
