The Opportunity:

The incumbent provides engineering support by managing all services, preparing specifications for Request For Proposals/Invitation To Quote (RFP/ITQ), RFP/ITQ evaluation and commissioning of new medical equipment, breakdown and preventive maintenance, and de-commissioning of medical equipment, managing teams and building the competency of staff.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan commissioning, preventive maintenance and calibration schedules.
  • Formulate and review calibration and preventive maintenance protocols.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of the preventive maintenance and calibration programs.
  • Liaise and manage external contractors on service matters and contractual issues.
  • Assess medical equipment put up for condemnation by end-users.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Electronics or relevant Engineering course with at least 10 years of experience in service and maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
