Our client is a leading freight forwarding service provider specializing in efficient logistics solutions for air, sea, and land transportation. They are committed to delivering exceptional service and ensuring seamless operations for their clients. They are currently seeking for a Prime Mover Driver to join their team.

Working Hours

• Monday to Saturday: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Overtime: Averaging two hours daily (if applicable)

Remuneration: $3,000 - $3,500 (depending on experience)

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Prime Mover Driver to transport containers between the port, warehouses, factories, and residential areas. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of logistics operations, ensuring timely and safe delivery of containers.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive prime mover trucks to transport containers from ports to warehouses, factories, and residential areas.
• Return and collect containers from container yards and depots.
• Transport containers to and from PSA for import and export activities.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and road rules.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
• Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders as needed.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Class 4 or 5 driving license with some experience in container trucking.
• Able to read, speak, and write simple English.
• Familiar with Singapore roads and traffic regulations.
• Must have completed the SPMD course to gain access to PSA for trucking containers.
• Vehicle can be driven home, provided there is a proper parking space available.
