The school is seeking an inspirational Deputy Head of Preparatory to join a thriving school community from August 2026. Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree with PGCE or equivalent.
• At least five years’ teaching experience in prep or primary schools, and will most probably be either a serving Deputy Head or experienced subject leader.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about education with a sound understanding of a Prep School ethos and best practice in pastoral and academic matters.
• Flexible and adaptable to the varied demands of working in a premier school.
• Able to think strategically as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
• Exceptional organiser and administrator with the ability to delegate and empower colleagues.
• Supportive and able to give guidance and leadership to the Prep School teaching staff whilst monitoring and evaluating teams and individuals, ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved.
• A strong understanding of the needs and issues facing all stakeholders within the school community.
• A warm, engaging and approachable personality with pupils, current and prospective parents.
• International school experience (preferred).
• Able to develop and foster teamwork and talented communicator, both orally and in writing.

• An international outlook and understanding of working in diverse environments.
