Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This role involves ensuring the proper functioning and reliability of our client's equipment and systems through both preventive and corrective maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for site visits, planning maintenance schedules, troubleshooting, and liaising with clients to ensure all equipment is up and running to meet agreed-upon service level agreements (SLA).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular visits to client sites to perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure their optimal performance.
  • Maintenance Planning: Plan and schedule preventive maintenance tasks in a timely manner, ensuring all maintenance activities are completed according to plan.
  • Problem Identification: Proactively identify and address potential issues before they lead to equipment failure, minimizing downtime and disruptions for the client.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring that services and systems are returned to an operational state in alignment with defined processes and SLAs.
  • Software Support: Support the creation, installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of in-house software, ensuring that systems operate smoothly.
  • Ad-Hoc Tasks: Perform other tasks as assigned by the company in support of the maintenance and engineering department’s objectives.
Requirements:
  • Higher Nitec or Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) or related fields is a plus.
  • No prior experience needed; on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot equipment and system issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed within the required timelines.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites and adapt to different work environments.
