• Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Prepare and set up learning materials and resources for daily activities.
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities such as songs, games, and storytelling.
• Help maintain a tidy, organised, and resourceful classroom.
• Assist in observing and recording children’s development and progress.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety at all times.
• Communicate positively with parents and colleagues when required.
• Respect and uphold the centre’s policies, guidelines, and confidentiality standards.
• Provide support in guiding children to develop respect for themselves, others, and their environment.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Care & Education, or relevant experience in a preschool setting.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for working with young children.
• Able to work under the guidance of the main teacher and within a team environment.
