Overview

Shipping/Logistics Executive (Freight) responsible for coordinating shipments, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with regulations to support smooth operations with Trading & Accounts departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with buyers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to arrange shipments and ensure cargoes ship out as per schedule.
• Prepare and process shipping documents, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin for customs clearance at destination.
• Prepare LC shipping documents in compliance with LC requirements and handle LC shipments.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, laws, and company policies.
• Work closely with Trading & Accounts departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other ad-hoc activities as assigned.

Requirements

• Min GCE A level or Diploma in any field, preferably in Logistics or Shipping Operations.
• Min 2 years’ experience in logistic planning and shipping documentation.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to converse with Mandarin-speaking associates.
