Job summary

A leading consulting firm in Singapore is looking for a manufacturing expert to optimise processes and drive innovation. The role requires a degree in engineering and at least 5 years of experience in plastic injection. You will manage projects concerning manufacturing technologies and work on product industrialisation initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to lead specialist projects with a focus on efficiency and sustainability.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in plastic injection.
• Knowledge in manufacturing technologies such as Plastic Injection, Molding, Electronics & Product assembly, Process Automation.

• Define and improve core manufacturing processes to optimise product design, efficiency, cost, sustainability, and safety.
• Drive innovation in manufacturing through digitalisation, automation, and advanced technologies.
• Lead and deliver manufacturing specialist projects within budget, timeline, and performance targets.
• Support product industrialisation and design-for-manufacturing, assembly, and testability initiatives.
• Manage CAPEX projects, including tooling investments and cost reduction initiatives.
• Review tooling concepts, designs, and supplier quotations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver manufacturing specialist projects (e.g. molding, assembly) within budget, timeline, and performance targets.
• Support product industrialisation and design-for-manufacturing, assembly, and testability initiatives.
• Manage CAPEX projects, including tooling investments and cost reduction initiatives.
• Review tooling concepts, designs, and supplier quotations in collaboration with Procurement and NPI teams.
• Provide manufacturing and technical expertise to development and site-level projects.
