Responsibilities
  • Support plant operations through process troubleshooting, improvement initiatives and project implementation.
  • Coordinate with Factory Manager on equipment maintenance, safety and operational readiness.
  • Monitor plant performance, identify recurring process deviations and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure safe, compliant operations through regular inspections, risk assessments and permit-to-work controls.
  • Liaise with vendors and contractors as required.
  • Conduct training to support operational capability and safety standards.
  • Assist with special projects and post-maintenance verification activities.
Requirements
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering
  • Working knowledge of process control and instrumentation, and PLC programming
  • Experience in a process manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a plant-based environment and respond to operational needs
  • Familiarity with process safety, risk management and continuous improvement practices is an advantage
