A leading semiconductor manufacturer in Singapore is seeking a Central Planning Engineer responsible for modeling backend capacity and optimizing product loading across a global network. This role involves interacting with diverse teams and ensuring model accuracy. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields and have strong analytical and decision-making skills. As a Central Planning Engineer at Micron Technology Inc., you’re a key member of a team responsible for modeling backend capacity for our business plans and scenarios. You will get exposure to our product life cycle management process at Micron where products move from conceptual to high volume manufacturing. You will be responsible for optimizing product loading across our global backend network. You will also be working extensively with a standardized capacity model called CSM which has been adopted by all manufacturing sites.
You're expected to interact and network with diverse groups such as Supply Chain POM, Engineering, Central Planning, Finance, Site IE and ATCP Factory Network Team to align on strategy and capacity across our backend manufacturing sites.
Consolidate data input to define backend network in CSM
Shape and optimize backend network using NCO
Manage feedback from global backend sites, BUs and corporate or/and global planning groups
Manage and ensure accuracy of inputs into CSM
Scope will be Micron and CPG and products for the network from Rapid Response
Drive global alignment on Capacity Supermodel (CSM) functionality improvements
Drive accuracy in model across backend network
Perform analysis to verify model accuracy
Oversees audit and maintenance of data input in model periodically
Create/map RDMs from lists sent out weekly by the Data Management Specialist teams
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
