Job Description
  • Work within specified constraints to provide weekly manufacturing plans, indicating when production teams should execute specific production builds. Complete all associated ERP transactions to prepare for production.
  • Follow guidelines provided by site manufacturing leadership and data analytics to achieve optimal production schedules that minimizes material costs while ensuring on time delivery and product availability requirements are met.
  • Responsible for weekly material procurement to fulfill manufacturing demands as well as working with the data analytics team to define the best overall purchasing schedule.
  • Identify areas of cost reduction without compromising on quality and service level.
  • Follow guidance to maintain appropriate stocking and replenishment levels for Sirtex manufactured products.
  • Coordinate shipment of inventory between companies when needed.
  • Monitor and file all shipment documentation and correspondence.
  • Responsible for receiving and maintaining regional records and copies of sales orders/shipping paperwork in
  • Communicate with Customer Service and Production as necessary in relation to sales order requirements and shipments as needed.
  • Cross check all production planning and material procurement requirements for customer orders each day to ensure sufficient stock and accurate detail information.
  • Prepare and distribute shipment paperwork as required to production facility and freight forwarder; review future shipments to ensure “ready to ship.”
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders on shipments to include shipment paperwork as well as shipment status.
  • Communicate shipment paperwork and/or status directly to regional Customer Service.
  • Monitor shipments via flight information and work with Customer Service to resolve treatment scheduling issues resulting from unplanned delivery delays.
  • Maintain monthly reconciliation of shipments as required via established reporting.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Degree in relevant discipline, or one year’s experience in relevant role.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Must be detail oriented, highly accurate, conscientious and able to work independently, dynamic and possess strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Multitasking and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Must be able to adjust schedule to cover other region's (eg. Europe) timing when required.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to serve our internal customers.
