Job summary

A leading optics technology company based in Singapore is seeking a Product Owner to manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and oversee product performance improvements. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in optics or opto-mechanical systems. Responsibilities include coordinating with Sales & Marketing as well as Operations, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, and driving initiatives related to First Article Tests. Strong knowledge of optical components, proficiency in AutoCAD or SolidWorks, and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in optics, opto-mechanical, or opto-electronic systems.
• Strong knowledge of optical components and their functionality.
• Hands-on experience with optical testing and metrology systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs) with Sales & Marketing and Operations.
• Drive execution of First Article Test, First Lot Production, and First Article Inspection.
• Lead product performance improvements through yield enhancement and scrap reduction.
