Job summary

A leading optical retail company in Singapore is seeking a Registered Optician to perform eye check-ups and assessments, conduct refraction tests, and dispense lenses. Ideal candidates should have a Nitec in Opticianry, strong communication skills, and a proactive customer-focused attitude. Experience in optical retail is a plus. This role involves supporting team operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Registered Optician with OOB (Pre-registered candidates are welcome!).
• Prior experience in optical retail is advantageous.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Perform eye check-ups and vision assessments for customers.
• Conduct refraction tests for individuals aged 8 and above.
• Accurately interpret optical prescriptions.
• Edge, fit, and dispense lenses as per prescription.

Responsibilities:

• Perform eye check-ups and vision assessments for customers
• Conduct refraction tests for individuals aged 8 and above

• Edge, fit, and dispense lenses as per prescription
• Adjust spectacle frames for optimal comfort and fit
• Provide expert advice on lens and frame selections
• Follow up on customer appointments and care
• Handle day-to-day retail operations, sales, and inventory
• Support team in maintaining a professional and customer-friendly environment

Requirements:
