Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments and make reminder calls.
  • Assist ophthalmologist in eye examinations and minor procedures.
  • Perform basic diagnostic tests (visual acuity, refraction, IOP measurement).
  • Operate and maintain ophthalmic equipment (OCT, fundus camera, autorefractor).
  • Prepare patients by recording medical and ocular history.
  • Administer eye drops or medications as instructed.
  • Guide patients through procedures and post-care instructions.
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and data entry.
  • Ensure hygiene and calibration of instruments.
  • Provide front-line patient service and basic eye care advice.
  • Any other tasks assigned.
