Job summary

A cleaning services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced operations manager to oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will possess at least 6 years of experience in the cleaning service industry and strong leadership skills. Responsibilities include planning schedules, conducting Risk Assessments, and supervising teams. A class 3 driving license is required. Competitive salary between S$4,500 to S$5,000 is offered based on experience.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Risk Assessment is preferred.
  • Possess a class 3 driving license.

Job Description
  • Oversee and manage daily cleaning operations across multiple sites.
  • Plan manpower, equipment, and work schedules to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure cleaning works are carried out according to agreed standards, timelines, and budgets.
  • Conduct and approve Risk Assessments and ensure safety requirements are followed at all sites.
  • Act as the main contact person for key clients and handle any issues or escalations.
  • Attend client meetings to understand requirements and ensure service expectations are met.
  • Supervise and guide Assistant Ops Managers, Supervisors, and cleaning teams.
  • Provide training to improve team skills and service quality.
  • Monitor operational performance, attendance, and service quality.
  • Support new site mobilisation and improvement of work processes.
  • Prepare operational reports and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
  • Perform other operational or administrative duties when required.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Secondary School/GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level/Professional Certificate/Nitec with at least 6 year(s) of working experience in the cleaning service industry preferred.
  • Strong industry knowledge on commercial cleaning and disinfection.
  • Prior experience in Risk Assessment.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A good team player and able to work independently.
  • Excellent leadership skills with good initiative; able to analyse and think flexibly.
  • Supervisory skills to manage cleaners.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Possess a class 3 driving license.
  • Computer literacy – Email, Microsoft Excel, Zetta Solution System.
Other Information
  • 6 working days per week
  • Salary: S$4,500 to $5,000 (Based on experience)
  • Location: Multiple locations / island-wide Singapore
