Operations Manager – SGUnited Traineeships Programme
1. Role Description

This position reports to the Director of the company and interfaces with the Managers and staff. Yong Hua is committed to providing innovative and excellent logistics solutions to support customers. Our team is dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of our customers with continuous innovation and growth.

2. Specific Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the logistics operations to achieve the operations KPI and the required service standards.
  • Supervises and develops staff and otherwise carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Communicate with government regulatory agencies regarding statutory requirements and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Works collaboratively with client and departmental staff to assure operational effectiveness, adherence to policies and procedures, improvement projects and specific needs.
  • Responsible for manpower planning and staffing requirements within operations sites.
  • Conduct regular review on team’s performance by providing expectations, performance planning & feedback for department’s future needs and operations.
  • Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures to meet and exceed customer metrics (cost, quality, Customer Service).
  • Monitor and analyze the operations and provide solutions to reduce cost and increase revenue.
