Working Hours: Monday to Friday- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9.30 AM – 6.30PM
Saturday - 8.30 AM -1.00PM
Job Purpose
To provide essential support in the daily office and warehouse operations of our courier service company. The role ensures the work environment is clean, organized, and functional while assisting with basic operational tasks to support smooth business flow. This is an entry-level position with comprehensive training provided.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- A. General Office & Maintenance Support (Primary Focus):
- Manage and monitor inventory of office supplies (stationery, cleaning items, pantry supplies)
- Distribute incoming mail, documents, and internal correspondence to appropriate staff/departments
- Perform basic office maintenance tasks (refilling printer paper, changing water dispenser bottles, organizing common areas)
- Run local office errands as directed (purchasing supplies, document delivery)
- Ensure office cleanliness and tidiness in collaboration with cleaning staff
- B. Courier & Warehouse Operational Support:
- Assist in sorting, organizing, and arranging inbound/outbound courier parcels in designated areas
- Support loading and unloading of parcels from delivery vehicles with care and attention
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse and operational spaces
- Assist with basic parcel processing (stamping, labelling, scanning) under supervision
- Support inventory counting and basic stock‑taking activities
- C. Simple Administrative & Data Support:
- Accurately enter basic consignment details into computer system (waybill numbers, sender/receiver information)
- File and organize hard copies of delivery documents, receipts, and waybills
- Assist in preparing simple daily reports and documentation as instructed
- Support data verification and basic record‑keeping tasks
Required Skills & Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn – No prior experience required
- Basic literacy – Ability to read and write simple English for work purposes
- Physical capability – Able to handle parcels, lift moderate weights (up to 15kg), and be active throughout the workday
- Reliability and trustworthiness – Responsible handling of documents, parcels, and company property
- Team‑oriented mind‑set – Works well with others and follows instructions carefully
Preferred Attributes (Training Provided If Needed):
- Familiarity with basic computer operations and data entry
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Good time management and punctuality
