Job summary

A maritime services company located in Singapore is looking for candidates to perform ship boarding duties and handle port and immigration clearance. Ideal candidates should possess GCE 'O' Level or N Level and should be prepared to work irregular hours, including weekends. Proficient communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. The salary ranges from $2000 to $2500 plus ship allowance.

Qualifications

• Candidates with no experience are welcome but 1 year of similar work experience is an advantage.
• Able to work irregular/odd hours including weekends and public holidays.
• Start work immediate is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ship boarding duties.
• Port and immigration clearance.
• Correspond with vessel principals, charterers, and other relevant parties.
• Liaise with terminal, booking of pilot, or other documentation requirements.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

• SHIP BOARDING DUTIES
• PORT & IMMIGRATION CLEARANCE
• CORRESPOND WITH VESSEL PRINCIPALS, CHARTERERS AND RELEVANT PARTIES AND CARRY OUT THEIR REQUEST
• LIAISE WITH TERMINAL, BOOKING OF PILOT OR OTHER DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENT FOR VESSEL CARGO OPERATION, COORDINATION OF BUNKER SUPPLY/STORES/CREW CHANGE
• ANY OTHER AH-HOC DUTIES ASSIGNED

2. JOB REQUIREMENT

• GCE 'O' LEVEL / N LEVEL & ABOVE
• NO EXPERIENCE ARE WELCOME BUT WITH 1 YEAR WORKING EXPERIENCE OR WITH SIMILAR WORK EXPERIENCE WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE
• REQURE TO WORK IRREGULAR/ODD HOURS WHICH INCLUDE WEEKENDS & PUBLIC HOLIDAYS
• GOOD PERSONAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS
• ABLE TO TAKE PRESSURE, WORK INDEPENDENTLY & TEAM PLAYER
• PROFICENT IN ENGLISH
• START WORK IMMED AN ADVANTAGE
• 5 DAYS WORK WEEK BUT EXPECTED TO BE ON CALL 24/7

3. SALARY

• BASIS PAY $2000 to $2500 + SHIP ALLOWANCE
