Job summary

Job Description:
  • Responsible for validating new corrective scopes as captured in a corrective Work Order, controlling maintenance demands in CMMS, supporting activities planning and preparing vessel activities schedule, ensuring that all phases of activity preparation take place as planned, thus optimizing resources, performing all activities with safety and ensuring integrity and reliability of MOG’s fleet.
  • Ensure the quality of WO (Work Orders) by monitoring and auditing the CMMS, verifying if the WO are detailed with all necessary information, proper resources allocated and correct status, as well as guaranteeing that all services have a notification/WO in the CMMS without duplication and support to keep the maintenance plans in CMMS correct and update.
  • Work with leadership during the job evaluation by supporting to determine the scope of activity required to return the equipment back into service, listing the steps, resources allocation and aligning with the relevant discipline(s) for the preparation required to execute the task(s) as a part of the planning phase for core crew activities and maintain an overview of the date constraints to ensure work is scheduled when there are resources and access available.
  • Support in the definition of responsibilities for executing the activity, analyzing if the activity will need to be performed by 3rd party or can be performed by a MODEC personnel.
  • Plan the vessel's maintenance through the maintenance planning procedures, integrating and prioritizing activities and carrying out the proper grouping in order to optimize equipment shutdowns.
  • Responsible to prepare and issue the Weekly Schedule to be followed by the team based on resources and manpower availability, tasks contents, operational constraints and vessel priorities. Issue on a weekly basis the 28-Day Schedule for leadership review. Also coordinate Weekly Scheduling meetings to obtain the approval for the schedule.
  • Measure the backlog on a regular basis, aiming to identify opportunities for improvements and prioritize when to bring work scopes into the schedule for execution.
  • Monitor maintenance indicators and perform critical analysis of deviations, defining action plans to mitigate them.
