Job Info

• Salary: Basic up to $4500 + VB
• Working Hour: Monday - Friday (8am - 5:30pm)
• Location: Kaki Bukit

Job Scope

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams during NPI and product launch phases
• Develop NPI project plans, define milestones, and monitor readiness for pilot builds and mass production
• Ensure design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-assembly (DFA) requirements are incorporated
• Define and establish production processes, work instructions, and process parameters
• Coordinate engineering builds, pilot runs, and process validations (IQC/IPQC/OQC)
• Troubleshoot technical and quality issues during pilot builds
• Validate new equipment, jigs, and fixtures with process engineering
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation: BOM, PMP, PFMEA, SOP, ECN/MDN updates
• Ensure accurate ERP updates for product structures and changes
• Work with suppliers to ensure material and component readiness
• Support product qualification, reliability testing, and First Article Inspection (FAI)
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions
• Drive continuous improvements in yield, cycle time, and manufacturability
• Introduce automation or process enhancements to support efficient scale-up
• Review post-launch results and recommend improvements for future NPI cycles

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in NPI, manufacturing engineering, or process engineering
• Strong hands‑on experience in BOM structure, ECN/MDR changes, and product releases
• Knowledge of ISO9001 standards
• Strong understanding of cable assembly or box‑build assembly processes
• Proficient in ERP systems, AutoCAD, or similar design tools
• Familiar with DFM/DFA and quality tools (8D, PFMEA)
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and cross‑functional coordination skills
• Resourceful, independent, and a strong team player
